Year Round Afternoon Tea

Some people argue that like Pimm’s and Aperol spritzes, afternoon tea is the preserve of warm Summer months . Of course, we strongly disagree:). At it’s heart afternoon tea is little sandwiches, scones with cream and jam, and pretty little desserts. Good food, especially when in comes on posh stands, never goes out of season.

You can have afternoon tea at your parties year round, by changing up the sandwiches, and desserts. For example, for Easter, you can have ham, lamb, and of course egg fillings, and have egg shaped cookies, and bunny themed cakes for your desserts. You can add a special touch to any holiday, or celebration with afternoon tea - yes, even Halloween. The possibilities are endless. Why not try putting together your own afternoon tea for your next special event. You can also add some more sturdy savouries ( miniature burgers, sausage rolls, scotch eggs, slices of quiche) and make it a high tea.
